Soften Wrinkles With Botox
The neurotoxins we have available at the office are Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeaveau. Each brand of neurotoxin acts on the muscle, and/or skin where it is injected.
This safe and quick procedure takes less than 5 minutes, and the results develop over the course of 2 weeks.
Typically the duration is about 3 to 4 months, depending on dosage and metabolism.
Neuromodulators are injected into muscles; it relaxes them so you are unable to crease your skin to create or add to existing static lines.
Most treatment areas may be retreated in 12 weeks.
Peak results are about 5-8 weeks post injection-- plan ahead for events!

Pre and Post Care
Before your appointment:
Fill out all of the paperwork and consent forms sent to you.
Avoid alcohol the night before your appointment as it may increase bleeding and the chance of bruising and swelling.
Arrive on time to your appointment without make-up on. Or arrive 10 minutes early and use the restroom to remove any makeup. Eye makeup, sunscreen, and skincare is okay!
If you have any questions about skin care or aesthetic treatments prior to your appointment, please reach out! Best practice is to wait 2 weeks between any procedures/treatments, but advice may vary.
Post-care instructions for Neuromodulators:
Do not lay down flat for 4 hours after treatment, remain upright in a sitting or standing position.
No hats, headbands, or anything that may apply pressure to treated areas.
No exercise that results in an increased heart rate for about 48 hours after treatment to allow for the neuromodulator to bind to the muscle it was injected into.
Avoid touching the treatment area for the remainder of the day.
Makeup may be worn the following day.
A normal, gentle skincare routine is recommended on the day of treatment. Avoid any chemical or physical exfoliants or any other harsh skin care products for 48 hours post treatment.
Bruising is normal, arnica (gel or pills) may be applied to aid healing.
Headaches are normal, OTC Tylenol is recommended to treat pain.
Any redness and swelling should resolve within 1 hour of injection.
